England
I imagine England is easy to visit for expats.
After all my Grandfather was born here educated here and only then did he get shipped to the Colonies with his family.
Now of course we those descendants are only tolerated as short term visitors.
That is not pleasant
The great dilemma the world well Europe faces is the border breaking that is do widespread..when our forebears were taught to defend the borders and they did. Turn back or be shot. Foreigners were the enemy. With good reason our forebears suffered a great deal rebuild the nation they fought to protect and now it seems, for what.
My question is, how do modern European society's survive. The plundering that made Spain Portugal Holland England and so on rich is no longer available. The industrial era has passed where there was work poorly paid but work and now we are taking in the neighbors washing and mowing their lawns for those people that either work in finance or the government. I simplify to make the point.
Brexit is a turning point not just for the UK but to show the way of the new society.
Were the crowds of visitors in the UK there because next year who knows. Are the crowds waiting to smuggle themselves into GB doing so because of it and where do they go next. The elections held recently in EU pointed to a new intolerance. Justly held in my view.
There is a political agenda that will I believe backfire.
The 'socialist' view it seems was come one and all the "rich' will pay but that theory o
overlooked the fact that rich have options, their home is not their only asset, but the poor well they get to share their poverty because not enough people are contributing and borrowing from the US who is borrowing from everyone else and recycling which caused the last greed made crisis, can't keep doing it.
Putin for one has seen the flaw and he will be less forgiving.
OK I could have stayed at home and thought that up but seeing it helps.
Summer in Europe in 2019 will be a whole lot different!
The reason I chose this picture was because this person I assumed to be an immigrant was begging beside a statue erected to a 'great nationalist'. The nation not important because we all face the same issue.
You worked hard to get your house and garden but I don't have one so I will live in yours. Does that make you want to be a socialist?
